Dear Barack Obama,
I would not be in your shoes. You have not set foot in the White House except to visit-or alleviated the suffering of Americans, you already enjoyed the taste of victory, no doubt a dangerous game. Man of the Year in 2008, you have earned the sympathy of (almost) everyone, including U.S. leaders as anti-Castro Cubans and the part of the Islamic community. You covered your figure of hope and devoted your sermon "Yes we can", now repeated as a prayer by millions of faithful. You are a prophet in politics and the new millennium and you compare with the ill-fated JFK. Chapoteas in an ocean of praise as you drag a current parsimonious, without spot, the gap left by the GW Bush presidency.
I endorse your recent past, your mood captive convince your plans. A great introduction letter but a bad precedent. It is time to honor your good words. The truth is you're already a hero of change without changing anything. Your task list as scary as the expectations on yourself. An equation that inevitably lead to disappointment, frustration and immediately to criticism. Get ready for the storm, Obama, because time is announced in 2009. As I say, I would not be in your shoes.
No matter how optimistic you are, it is illogical to think that the new U.S. president can settle without pain or controversy cancers that affect U.S. and by extension the rest of the world.
You'll have to roll up sleeves and get into the mud for cleaning without damaging the economy even more families with less income. Need to use a lot left hand and show its teeth to calm Iraq without whip the boiler of fundamentalism while searching for the missing Bin Laden and try the Middle East conflict does not spread beyond Afghanistan.
I have no doubt that your enemies list will grow every day, take the decisions you make, because you can never satisfy everyone. How to choose your steps because you will walk to the edge. Those who now get pats on the back then can go to push down the slope.
If you're a good guy, as presumed from the image they project to you, you will choose the difficult path, another against the established powers that have upended finance, cashing in that war, speculating on the health of citizens and the environment by a few billion. If you have the courage to do, watch your back. The good guys usually end up betrayed. History offers numerous examples of how the status quo ordered by the cross, to the stake, the gallows or the firing squad who showed enough arrests to be a threat.
If you have deceived us, soon we will leave doubts. In any case, I would not be in your shoes.
When the January 20 presidential materialize your appointment, surrounded by friendly faces, Hollywood celebrities and thousands of fans, enjoy the moment. From there the thing will have some body ugly for parties.
You hinted at your good ways to publish online the list of donors for the celebrations of your proclamation. Something unheard of in Washington. Are you aware of the importance of the web, another innovation that can bring freshness to the way of governing and dealing with citizens. Hopefully in the legislature is confirmed and you end up remembering, among other things, like "Obama, President surfer".
I do not know if you are superstitious but if you touch wood. Save the amulets they gave you your voters during the election campaign, may you ever need. If you took the twelve grapes to change the year, as I recommended in a viral video from Spain to catch the good luck, something that you take.
Remember that your appearance and victory was possible thanks to the chaos caused by Bush. Without his disastrous management the Obama phenomenon would not have been possible, at least, I think, in 2008. Keep in mind your mistakes because you are the chosen remedy to restore sanity, if possible.
We'll see what that comes out 2009, I hope you do not take success surfeited with glory or with a hangover. In any case, Obama, I would not be in your shoes.
