Far from attempting to give a wonderful picture of the future, it seems quite apocalyptic.
- To think that people own the information because they publish blogs and surfing the Internet is demagogy and lies.
- To think that journalists are freer because they work from anywhere and not in writing is to hide that this work would make us slaves (24-hour workdays and pressure sources).
- To think that there will be layoffs in the media over the Internet (as shown in title to the layoffs in the print media that appears in the video) is to forget the bubble of 2001.
- The value of information is in the middle, but on the content, but insist that we forget. Below McLuhan. Internet is a tool, useful, but a tool, not a panacea. Like a hammer, can be used to drive nails or open heads, depends on who uses it.

I do not think anything online is to bury forever the problems you are having the news paper today stem from the economic crisis and the outcrop of more news sites on the net. Is now costs. The media have organizational structures that have become obsolete, while in recent years have witnessed a boom in media companies. The market was overestimated, the supply is much greater than demand and the arrival of the rainy day there is no advertising for everyone. The crisis will serve to correct the excesses media, boost internet as a means of instant information and rethink the newspaper as a news source more restful, analysis, etc.. Paper format may not last forever, true, but not because more websites. We still have to find something else, another medium, perhaps.
That said, I think it is recommended that media professionals are born only on the Internet. Reach many more and as they say, who gives first given twice (if not paste the smack and closes).

I agree that the problem is economic: no advertising for newspapers and paper are expensive, so look at it. The Internet is that it has begun to take off (in Spain) with the economic crisis and is cheaper to maintain and more dynamic. Now, that Internet use should not think that anyone be a journalist, not anything goes and you need some training to provide quality information. And you have to separate clearly entertainment information. And no, it will make us free teleworking and "backpacking" ...
