Star Trek will be a success, at least in terms of box office and fans, exactly what any Hollywood producer looking for when investing their capital in the cinema. There will be consequences, at least to complete a trilogy, but the USS Enterprise hitting the road again for a five-year mission, so one could speculate with a long future in the film to Kirk, Spock and company suffered after rejuvenating facelift by the characters. That's my forecast, easy to do then when it is expected that the product is known before birth, the characters are charismatic and has a skillful direction JJ Abrams, one hand that rocks the cradle of the hit series TV show "Lost" (Lost).
However, neither Abrams nor his fellow writers, actors and ventured to speak of new chapters until we see what the birth of first child, for that to avoid sounding presumptuous or having to backtrack later if things go wrong. Anyway it was apparent in the presentation to the press in Los Angeles that the team was shaping a Star Trek sequel. Chris Pine, the new Captain Kirk (William Shatner originally incarnated) dropped all the crew of the Enterprise is committed to make three films and Zoe Saldana, young Nyota Uhura communications officer, confessed that he would have more prominence in the sequences of action in the second half after he was the object of desire of Kirk and Spock Zachary Quinto, yes, the same who plays the Machiavellian Sylar on "Heroes".
The best of the film is how the characters are taken up. The most difficult of tasks that are responsible for return enfretaban the series by the fact that they keep the names of classic players and are changing the face and voice. Abrams explained that the purpose of the film was to serve as a bridge between the old stories and to come without making new movies on a reinterpretation of some scripts already written.
Both Pine and Quinto and the rest of the members of the Enterprise is impregnated sheathed the character of their predecessors and are believable as younger versions of the veteran crew of the spaceship. From there bring their own identity and facilitate a transition to an unknown universe of adventure. Seized names and do it well.
The dark side of the film is how the action unfolds itself. So worried were Abrams and co. to construct a scenario that would allow return to Star Trek from the beginning and not get your fingers caught everything before seen the knot and the outcome of the film weakens.
As a redefinition of the Star Trek saga is bled away a win, as a standalone product will not go down in history of science fiction films. Adds nothing, does not pose new challenges, not dazzle by their expensive special effects. We'll see if the second part the script is more focused on coaxing the viewer that solve the complexity diligently to reinvent the franchise.
The return of Leonard Nimoy as Spock is a treat for the fans but its weight in the film is testimonial. In fact, the picture offers no tired old plays into the character's memory. Nimoy in the flesh seems more alive than his character, believe me. The intelligent Vulcan is now better in the skin of Fifth, even if you make the mental effort to disentangle the face of the mythical alien Nimoy pointed ears.

I just saw the movie. 2.5 * 5. It seems that there are moments that made them heartily, for example, when leaving the girl who seems to be a version of piccolo, only made with less "care", your body simply is painted is right. Too many holes. We see nothing and suddenly Spock is the commander or something, nothing after (spoiler) kisses with Uhura (end spoiler). And the red monster that is made to note that computer and the "seudoenano" straight out of the power rangers. The movie just goes into 3 parts and all. It is the last nearly 2 hours in just 3 parts. All you have to rename it to Zachary Quinto. His work was good and heroes here fulfills its mission by showing an almost imperceptible Spock (I say almost, because in the end becomes free), in addition, that make you nod to the original series at the end (which was loose) is worthy and I know the fans appreciate it. Nothing more. It is a fact that will become a blockbuster, but nothing more.

I just saw this movie and is a DISASTER. ! DISASTER!. This is not Star Trek is a science fiction movie with good special effects that takes the name of Star Trek, but it definitely has nothing to do with the series. A disappointment.

Well, to me the movie I found it really great that there was no other to continue to see some film of the saga.
As a Trekkie I really know that they could not bring the old players and again assuming that something had to bring the movie to be retained as a saga seems very good start, perhaps as a fan of the series I did not like the odd little thing, but I keep that balance was really good and we'll see what happens with those that come.
I recommend seeing it, is really impressive and there are moments in my seat I felt transported by the emotions that evoke past and to other stages of my life ... thanks for that.
Greetings.

The movie is awful, not at all follow the spirit of the original series or movies Star Trek (perhaps only the second). A sweetened mixture of comedy and predictable responses, add a scorched appearance of Leonard Nimoy and a general lack of depth ends of all the original spirit of the entire Star Trek saga. A tremendous disappointment and an insult to fans of this memorable series.
APTA: For fans of special effects, action, comedy series glib and sci-fi series B.
NOT ACCEPTABLE: For those who expect a resurrection-style series "Batman Begins" or for those looking for depth in the message.
