"Up in the Air", an awesome movie

fer Fernando Mexia, the pen.

Fortunately, once every so often, one goes to the movies and find something like "Up in the Air", a film exquisite in its simplicity, able to laugh and move equally, with a history solid and believable, tender and careful, full of that indescribable magic that justifies the love of the cinema. "Up in the Air" is what comumente call "an awesome movie."

Hats off to Jason Reitman, director of 32 years responsible for the brilliant "Juno" (2006) for which she was nominated for an Oscar, which this time took over the project from his script, a success in view of the result .

"Up in the Air" is a story of solitude and independence, about love and disappointment, the harsh and beautiful reality of personal relationships and fear of compromise, individual fulfillment and false expectations, especially through the eyes employee of a company that is dedicated to do the dirty work for companies that outsource the task of firing staff. That guy is George Clooney, Clooney possibly the most sympathetic of his career, which humanizes the character of self-confident winner who has given so much revenue to date.

The title of the speech production of life in the air in your character that both fly to and fro on business-what it takes to accumulate millions of miles, just feeling at home when he gets on a plane, away of ties and completely detached from emotional ties, seemingly happy until he finds his match.

Clooney is good, like Vera Farmiga, her alma mater in the film, although personally I prefer Anna Kendrick, who at age 24 and after two "Twilight" stands behind him in naive humor. The scene where he breaks bereaved mourn Clooney riding a stunt at the entrance of a hotel is guaranteed laugh.

"Up in the Air" is a work of transcendent acting without special effects, a product that will certainly have their place in the Oscars. Many will wonder "Nine," "Invictus", "Avatar" or "The Lovely Bones" to override Reitman tape in the race for the award.
