Ethics and digital communication: incomplete brain
There are already several times I try to brain function. Surely the scientific community, being unsure about human behavior, has decided to examine whether a mutation has occurred that justifies the usual excesses of which the human mind is capable.
This time I comment the results of brain attitudes on ethics and social networks. Neither more nor less than an Institute at the University of Southern California comes news sore the matter: a study on emotions and ethics.
It is well known that ethics and fair decisions require peace and quiet. I do not mean you have to stop twice or philosophy, as well you have learned in your high school aprovechadísimas afternoon, that ethics requires spend whole afternoons on the lawn with a book under his arm Plato, of course. What I mean is that ethical decisions should be thoughtful. However, researchers have pondered whether the speed of response in the brain limits our ability networks of ethical behavior. That then you say that scientists do not deal with things useful ...
So they have to analyze the brain of thirteen volunteers - it is conceivable that such volunteers would be normal, do not be evil-minded, considering that the reaction time ranges from six to eight seconds to start having a brain response, and should be more long to be adequate in terms of emotions and moral and ethical decisions.
The conclusion is that the time bound is not respected moral choices in digital communication, usually giddy and unthinking. Surely you'll be plotting a justification for the nonsense put yourselves in front of Facebook to see what color, character or animal you are.
The authors argue that the actions and reactions with ethical implications require more time: the storm of brains produces incomplete information. There it is: that is the justification you were looking for when your sons and daughters aim to take the laptop to your room, the beach, or anywhere else.
So, guys, and we blame for our foolishness: the time of digital communication is what makes our brain behaves as if in formation.
The study suggests that in the culture of new media, the speed with which the violence and social suffering is presented either in networks, television, movies or video games, makes our brain behave with indifference because it reacts.
Living slowly, in short, help, ethical reactions in the network. The pity is that you leave lying on the chat: is there is no way.

Cibercensura and ciberdisidecia
Reporters Without Borders has issued a report entitled " Internet Enemies "which examines network censorship and other threats to freedom of expression" online "in 22 countries has found such practices. The twelve enemies "dirtier", using the expression of the report are: Burma, China, Cuba, Egypt, North Korea, Iran Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. They have transformed the Internet into an Intranet for its population has no access to "undesirable".
The organization has placed ten other countries "under surveillance": Bahrain, Belarus, Eritrea, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailandia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen and Zimbabwe. To them it is also Australia and South Korea have established Internet censorship laws.
In these countries, say the reporters without borders is not only exercised censorship but seeks to users. Ciberdisidencia detainees reach the number of seventy in the world: China, Vietnam, Iran and Egypt are the champions in this chapter.
There is a clear link between use of the internet, freedom, and of course economic development.
I quote from memory the case of Egypt. Data read not long ago, from Amnesty International which I quote from memory. In Egypt, a country of more than 80 million people - half illiterate-12 million people surf the Internet from their personal computers or Internet cafes. 200,000 of them have opened a blog. Internet is one of the most persecuted by political and religious authorities.
Australia is a paradigmatic case since being a country that no doubt be among the respect of Human Rights has adopted a notably repressive legislation on behalf of the protection of undesirable content. What continues to be a warning about the dominant trends in this field.
Governments have proven to be very aware of the technological advances that allow control over the network or try. In developed countries have a significant opposition in a number of experts engaged in the development of tools that bypass the worst governmental wills.
In these countries there are many resources and technological weakness is very remarkable. Which not only undermines their development and respect for human rights but social skills to respond.
This is why one thinks that social networks have a key role, especially those of Arabic or Russian. And also, that the internet access from mobile phones will be the next battle not only for development but for the extension of freedom.

Young was standing auction: great offer. Yanick called Honey
A young Frenchman of 24 years with two masters, one in law and other economic intelligence and business management, has announced on eBay that was put up for auction from 23 February to 4 March. Ebay has finally removed the ad.
Yanick Honey, after a training contract for eleven months, spent five months of unemployment, has conducted 20 interviews and submitted to 300 jobs without success. Points out, the young, quite rightly, that none of the measures promoted by his government (not for ours) affects these unemployed.
So you've decided to act accordingly and has offered online to the highest bidder: "I am a young graduate in times of crisis is well that my value is low, which is why I propose this great offer."
I guess parents are to be paid the Master in economic intelligence and should be proud of the boy. The supply of output: one euro. A price and a great deal, of course.
It is likely that this action could be described guerrilla marketing in the context of a "branding personal" any day discussed the matter. But the bottom line seems a little dramatic: the boundaries between work and slavery are volatilized in the uses and head of the people as the lack of job prospects takes over the life of staff.
The problem is that the action of this young plausible. It is plausible that a human being can be bought at auction as before the arrival of an Indian ship. It seems, why not that truck in search of workers at a gas station that one can observe certain hours of the morning, black seems to work for some workshops. The only difference is that the public announcement of a young person offends our sensitivity auction
I understand the withdrawal of the notice; understand that bourgeois morality can not accept this offer of a man as a slave auction. My only regret the withdrawal of the ad is that we can not prove how many entrepreneurs, bankers and corporations were willing to bid.

Any network or a union?
Full Monty Unemployed rehearsing her "striptease" in an employment office. Today, they would not. Hang a video on Youtube and look for a micropayment system for those who would like to see the final scene. Beyond my irony, this idea might seem ridiculous not seem so outlandish to the flowering of the increasingly popular social networking sites.
Accumulate information and data that indicate that the crisis has been bad news for social networks that are as surprisingly increases the number of users. A sign that something is changing in the habits of social behavior, not simply that we have less time available to meet in person.
Even financial professionals, always reluctant to mix with ordinary mortals begin to arrive, in the midst of financial uncertainty seem to be preparing for what may come, if only by "friends" in the network.
So much enthusiasm that there is already talk of new business models and entrepreneurs kitchens are ordered new business ideas . The crisis has given to networks which other sectors are losing: potential customers.
Look at some guidelines. The unemployed, even if they are at home, not isolated. Have turned their stress in a broad dialogue with others like them. A dialogue that falls outside of unions, associations, government agencies or offices of employment and takes place entirely in social networks (like Facebook or similar).
Long before we know if it is a moving background. Institutional, traditional meeting places, but that does not suffer discredit overrides the will of the people to socialize. The unemployed surfing and networking, change their behaviors. Some reports say as, for example, reducing emails and their replacement by interactive conversations Well for 2.0!
There are also clues on how they are expected to get jobs in this crisis by co-option . The offers do not appear in public, or in the press, or almost anywhere. Are social networks, acquaintances, which passed by way of gossip this or that possibility.
For some time the ability to generate networks is a symbol of quality integration in the market today is probably an element of security. Woe to him who has no network! A new dimension of digital divide is upon us.
Entrenched in the network

Journalism "online" are prepared trenches.
In my previous comment, stated that one of the characteristics of the network in the future would be a permanent pressure on the systems they imagine the fullest freedom of content. One expression of this conflict is what will occur in the field of journalism "online", which already digging trenches.
The wide world of citizen journalism enhances individual capacity not only to create information or opinion, but to compete in the field of creation of "common sense". An alternative to conventional means to the minimum possible segmentation of audiences and strategic marketing firms have perceived more and more clearly. In the future, the business opportunity is in the news, but in the opinion.
In this field you live different experiences. The hospital blog as the one organized by Ferdinand in the pen, experiences as Digital Ink , media projects being born in an original way for the network, such as Project i , aggregators and blogs that can be called to establish the newspapers of the future.
On the other side of the trenches, the traditional newspaper publishers are preparing for the assault. Their strategies go, first, to alleviate its business model through layoffs and wage reductions. Second, by integrating the newsrooms to produce content for the network and the mobile. Finally, establish market barrier systems.
French President Sarkozy has already started. Among many measures proposed economic aid as delivering newspapers at age 18, which will make the state's largest news broadcaster free not free and, above all, the creation of the status of "online editor". A name, on behalf of the responsibility for what pubicado will serve to put up barriers, get some kind of criminalization of citizen journalism and, especially, to discriminate the market for public subsidies.
The traditional newspaper publishers seek to circumvent the threat of the flexibility of citizen journalism and advertising network with the strength of public support from government.
Prepare for battle.

The future internet

Internet 2020: irregular social consequences
An American research center, the Pew Internet and American Life Project , has issued a report of prospective internet in 2020. The assessments match report on improvements that will result from network access through mobile and improving the current architecture (rather than creating a new one): speech recognition, artificial intelligence, virtual reality.
However, it seems like the same deal or optimism about the social consequences of these technological improvements. Do not create the report in a more forgiving human relations or in a dramatic improvement of life in homes.
Both the majority of respondents as experts in the sample considered a negative outlook: the ability to know one another will not exceed our capacity to hate, differences in social roles or racial claim.
Transparency in the behavior of individuals and organizations improve. People openly share more intimate details of her life every day. Much of what happens in everyday life will be more visible, more transparent and personal data will populate the social networks and databases. The number of mobile phone cameras and surveillance cameras will grow exponentially, will be extremely expensive, sophisticated, and their widespread use. Even the clothes are considered as the interface design.
But we must not say, establish a relationship between this behavior and integrity. Are tied in the survey, almost, who believe that greater transparency will lead to an improvement in the ethical and who do not.
Respondents predict a harsh battle between advocates of network control and copyright and those who imagine systems, methods of copy and defend the fullest freedom of content. Experts and analysts and users are optimistic about the difficulty of the drivers to tame the media.
Finally, the outlook report said the final separation of the divisions between personal time and work time and between physical and virtual reality, typical of the industrial economy. A confusion, analysts say, with significant effects on basic social relations.
In the vital area is expected to increase the digital divide, an increase of violence and abuse potential: in the workplace is stressed, especially, skills to acquire control of employers over workers network.
