I saw Avatar on Monday (Dec. 14) and even shock me hard at the time of writing this post. The film is spectacular and revolutionary visual phenomenon in itself. Some people criticize the script, definitely
further improved the film, but I think the staging is so great and the action is so accomplished that compensates for any weakness argumentative. Avatar makes you enjoy the film and as a child. See her again now and it lasts more than two hours.
After Titanic, Terminator and Aliens, James Cameron returned with his most ambitious project backed by $ 300 million and which employ more than four years of work exclusively, colossal figures even for Hollywood. The money and time spent are the results on the screen.
A priori it might seem a movie for an audience fond of special effects, explosions and science fiction, mostly male (statistics advance ticket sales in the U.S. indicate that 75 percent of buyers are men), but Avatar is a work to be studied in film history and it is a must for any fan of cinema. I went to see it with my wife, not suspected of being excited with films of this style, and left happy. We both want to go on vacation next year to Pandora. Read the rest of this entry »
Advancement of "Avatar" by James Cameron

"Avatar", probably the most anticipated film of the year, continued to increase his legend today when there is still half a year for release in the U.S., scheduled for December 18. Its director, James Cameron, was dispatched to like about the film's plot 3D has more than four years producing and we know very little.
With expectations in style, the director kept the excitement level on the tape while defending swashbuckling virtuosity of the game that accompanies the film (company Ubisoft) and arrive in stores even before the film Cameron.
Those present at the Ubisoft event (as part of the E3 video game show) we are left with the desire to see a preview of the film, although the trailer of the game will be unveiled these days. For now still playing wait and settle for what has Cameron.
"The story I wrote 14 years ago and when I took my team told me they could not do it because they had not yet developed the appropriate technology. When I saw the character of Gollum in 'The Lord of the Rings' I thought it was time to try again, "said Cameron.
The plot of "Avatar" takes place in a remote planet (actually a moon orbiting a major planet) called "Pandora" in the twenty-second century AD. A time in which human development has brought the species to the conquest of space. In these we are when we come to "Pandora".
"It's like Earth but its atmosphere is unbreathable to humans. There are lots of greenery and strange and exotic species. Trees 300 meters tall and is inhabited by a society of beings gigantic (3 meters) and whose culture has a primitive look, "these are known as Navi.
According to Cameron the natural state of the Navi is "peaceful and live in harmony, but become fierce when they see it as human beings to colonize their land."
Humans in turn, to combat the hostile environment, create human-like beings genetically equipped to survive in that atmosphere. Yes indeed, these are the "avatars". These individuals are mentally and remote controlled by humans (who have to go into a coma or something similar).
The film transcends the military conflict when there is love between a human navi and through his avatar. The human will begin to understand the culture and having affection for the navi and time for the final battle will have to decide which side.
Cameron predicted that the last fight will be a waste of visual effects to display the full might of human arms (in futuristic plan) and the more rustic but intelligent defense of the hard navi, who want to sell face defeat.
"People who have seen a piece of the film says it's like I was living a dream." Is not a passive spectator, "takes part in the journey of the film," said the filmmaker.
As an advance is not wrong, I am concerned, however, opt out of Cameron to generate more expectations on your project, and much appreciated in advance. It is dangerous to create such enthusiasm often leads to disappointment because. Let's wait a few months to learn more.
