Fortunately, once every so often, one goes to the movies and find something like "Up in the Air", a film exquisite in its simplicity, able to laugh and move equally, with a history
solid and believable, tender and careful, full of that indescribable magic that justifies the love of the cinema. "Up in the Air" is what comumente call "an awesome movie."
Hats off to Jason Reitman, director of 32 years responsible for the brilliant "Juno" (2006) for which she was nominated for an Oscar, which this time took over the project from his script, a success in view of the result .
"Up in the Air" is a story of solitude and independence, about love and disappointment, the harsh and beautiful reality of personal relationships and fear of compromise, individual fulfillment and false expectations, especially through the eyes employee of a company that is dedicated to do the dirty work for companies that outsource the task of firing staff. That guy is George Clooney, Clooney possibly the most sympathetic of his career, which humanizes the character of self-confident winner who has given so much revenue to date. The Oscar 2010

In the absence of 140 days for the 2010 Oscar ceremony are already envisioning the names that presumably will compete for the prestigious golden statuettes, a list of surprises in store surely due to the doubling of the number of candidates for best film of the year.
Highly predictable
- Nine. On paper it has everything to be among the ten chosen. Is a musical and academic Hollywood love this genre. It is directed by Rob Marshall who already dazzled with "Chicago", another musical, which in 2003 was the big winner of the Oscars (13 nominations and 5 awards, including Best Picture). It features a cast of six actors exception of Oscar winners. If "Nine" is not nominated is a great failure for production.
